So Mister DadaDuffy, let's start at the begining. Did you or did you not lie about things? _____________ Did you not deny that you attend the lectures in 1973? For once be candid. You were there, you what, 21 and a half? You were travelling like thousands of young men and women, you'd been to Zurich to visit the Cabaret Voltaire, and whilst doing that you discovered Artaud, __ oh right the year previous, and then you went to France. You were to do a book, small thing , it was , loose pages, unbound, and your friend Maurice brought you to the lectures that changed your head, is this right?
DadA Duffy: Okay, let's see it's true and not true. I was in Zurich that summer, and I had been to France for a passing through, a quick visit the summer before, and I was mad and joyous to be so near the events of 68.... I could not have gone to Paris, that year, because I was a teenager and did not have money. But yes, it is true that Maurice Chayet _ my old friend the mathematician brought me to hear the lectures. I was blown away. Everyone was.. I was going on what 22 and a half? Well, that kept on happening until 87 I think, no I am sure, it was the last year, I did get a chance to go again. I was with somone who I loved, and we attended them way out in St. Denis. I had even named a radio show I was doing based on the idea of lines of escape, that and a book by Grahame Greene, called Ways of Escape.
Wait a second can you explain that again? Or let me see, you attended the lectures or some of them in 73. Then you went back again until 1987?Or did you go back in 1987?
DadaDuffy: I went every time I went to France. Whenever I could. I had gone to England to see R.D.Laing, and landed upin Zurich like I said to see the Cabaret Voltaire. Itg was Maurice who brought me to Paris, so I could see that 1968 was still going on but in a new form. A few years later, we went to Italy. We saw Guattari speak at a rally for the Autonomia, and it was like he was a saint. He was, or everyone near him thought he was a prophet.... like figure....
